Pray!

“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.  To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.”  Ephesians 6:18  

Today I prayed this for the Church I serve based on Ephesians 3:14-21:

Father in Heaven, all people come from You and in You is all sufficiency.  Please grant to the members and parishioners of Bethany LBC this day power through the Holy Spirit so that they might be strengthened.  Let Christ dwell in their hearts through faith.  May this church be rooted and established in love that they might with all the saints of the world understand how wide and long, how high and deep is Christ’s love for them. May the people of this church be filled with all the fullness of God.  For You are able to do more than I could ask for or even imagine because You do this by the power of Your Spirit that is in us.  May you be glorified in this Church and in Jesus Christ forever and ever. Amen.

I would ask you who are reading this if you would pray this for me as often as you think of me:

Glorious God, on this day may Pastor Paul be so captured by Christ that he will love and obey Jesus with all that he is and all that he has.May Pastor Paul be so captured by Christ that he might today be more like Him in true righteousness and holiness.May he be so captured by Christ that Pastor Paul will love people as Christ loves them.May he be so captured by Christ that Pastor Paul will spend this day leading people to Christ and teach them to love Christ, to be like Christ, to love others, and to lead others to Christ who will do the same.Do this for your glory and praise in Jesus Name, amen!
